The small print.

Light Space Photography is part of the LiThUAE group and a trading name of Paul Cockerill .  The terms ‘Light Space’, ‘Light Space Photography’ and the logo are asserted to be the copyright property of Paul Cockerill.  Light Space photography  may be referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’,  ‘the business’ or ‘the company’ and the terms ‘client’, ‘customer’, ‘you’ or ‘they’ may also be considered interchangeable in documents and materials produced by Light Space Photography.

Contracts
All Contracts are explicitly formed between Light Space Photography and the client for the supply of photography services and products.  Contracts for the supply of photography services will commence when the deposit or first payment has been received by Light Space Photography.  For the production of products contracts will begin when confirmation to start works has been made, the deposit or first payment has been received by Light Space Photography.

Bookings and Deposits
Photography bookings require a deposit to be paid to secure our services.  Bookings will be held provisionally for a period of two weeks after discussing your requirements with us.  For weddings a 50% deposit is required with the balance paid one month prior to the event.  If the date of the wedding is within 6 weeks the total order value must be paid in full to secure your booking.  All payments must be made to Paul Cockerill.
Other photography bookings will be subject to a minimum deposit of £200 up to a maximum 50%  of the total order value.  If the services requested are of less than £200 in value, payment in full is required.  Failure to pay the balance by the requested date will be deemed a breach of contract by the client.

Cancellation
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they have the correct insurances in the event of cancellation.  All deposits and monies paid, once received by Light Space Photography, are non refundable.  In the unlikely event that Light Space Photography are unable to supply the services requested we will inform you as soon as possible. In such cases a full refund will be given due to the inability of the company to complete the works as agreed.
Light Space Photography hold public liability insurance appropriate to the activities of the business.  We should not be held liable to the client or third parties for any loss or damage arising from events or persons outside of our control, breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise.

Product Standards and Turnaround
All prints are produced by a professional photographic laboratory on traditional photographic medium using up to date digital processes. Photographs  can be provided in either lustre or gloss finishes if neither is specified the standard is lustre.  Other sizes may be available on request.  All print orders take approximately one week.  Albums are manufactured in the UK to the highest standards.  Orders can take up to 28 days for delivery.

Movie albums are produced to give exceptional image quality and are provided on discs with printed faces and in a presentation case. Soundtrack music must be provided by the client.  Video to be edited or added to a movie album must be either owned by the client or copyright permission obtained for this purpose.
Please allow up to 28 days for production.

Photographic Restoration and services quoted with hourly rates will be calculated based on every half hour or part thereof.  Clients may set a limit to the amount of time or value to be given to a particular job and will be informed if extra time will be required or the quote is likely to be exceeded.
Cloth canvas images are produced on high quality fabric imaging medium then mounted on a stretcher frame with wrap around edges.  Please allow two weeks.

Pricing
All prices or products may be subject to change without notice.  If a product becomes unavailable from our suppliers we may offer a substitute of equal or greater value and/or quality.  Clients will be notified if any changes are required to orders in advance of manufacture.  Where a balance for products and services has been paid, unless exceptional circumstances prevent us from doing so, the price will be guaranteed for a period of three months from the date of payment.  If during this period the client hasn’t provided the information required to commence the order they will be subject to any extra charges that may be incurred to make the order to the original specifications.

Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the description of photography and services to be supplied are correct and meet their requirements.  To change any items the client must contact Light Space Photography as soon as possible.  Once in production orders cannot be changed nor will any refunds or exchanges be given where products and services match those laid out in the description of works.

Information
We do our best to ensure that all information produced by Light Space Photography in any communications, brochures, advertising materials and on our website is up to date at the time of publication, factually correct and clear.  Any errors or unclear information that we are notified of will be corrected or amended as soon as is practically possible.

Data Protection
Light Space Photography uses your information to contact you regarding enquiries and agreements you have made with us, as well as products, services and offers that may be of interest to you.  Information we hold about you may be stored on our database for an indefinite period of time.  We do not distribute this information to any person or organization outside of Light Space Photography.  If you feel that any of the information we hold about you is incorrect out of date or you wish to be removed from our database please inform us as soon as possible.
Images that we produce of you are available as a set to view in a password protected location on our website.  It is the clients responsibility to ensure they keep the username and password combination safe as we do not disclose this information to anyone other than the guests at a clients wedding or relevant parties.  If for any reason a client wishes to change the username and password associated with their client area they must contact us immediately.

Complaints
If for any reason a client is unsatisfied with any of the products or services provided to them by Light Space Photography they should notify us immediately so that we can resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Copyright
All photographs, designs, logos, creative works and information produced by Light Space Photography in any media are the copyright property of Light Space Photography and Paul Cockerill.  These rights are not transferable and cannot be sold bought, exchanged or traded.  Any infringement of these rights will not be tolerated and may be subject to legal action.  Clients are reminded that as such images produced by us may be used in publicity materials, publications and on our website without requiring prior consent.  We do however operate a fair usage policy where we promise not to use or disclose more than a few selected images in any materials produced by us and we will carefully consider any requests to remove photographs from our website.

Data Safety
Light Space Photography has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure that data, images and backups stored by us are protected from theft, damage, fire, loss, malicious attacks, viruses and malware. We also take all reasonable precautions to ensure that electronic communications and transactions between Light Space Photography, the client, and third parties are secure, free from viruses and malware. In the unlikely event of a failure of any of these systems we cannot be held responsible for any damages implied or incurred by any third parties or the client.

We reserve the right to update or amend our terms and conditions at any time without notice. The terms and conditions here are always up to date and correct.
